PHP/MySQL Development

Before I joined SAP Canada in February 2016, I ran ARC Web Design from 2012-2015 and managed 2 PHP/MySQL websites from 2008-2010. Even though the design work was inadequate, the coding that was done firmly established additional programming skills like those that I picked up at UCFV in the late 90s. At BCIT, I achieved consistent results from one project to another, enabling me to achieve a final grade of 97%. In MDIA 4325, I went beyond the call and created a site that had a timeout period for established sessions. Note that database connectivity for this site has not been restored yet.

At SAP, I follow Agile principles for every project that I am a part of (testing and quality assurance). Proper development requires attention to detail and communication about any issues that arise. It also requires application of skill/knowledge at each stage of execution. If the process is flawed, the result will be flawed. In some cases, when things go wrong, it may come down to an individual not permorming at his/her best. Dedicated to improving my skills in Java object-orientated programming, you can count on my to deliver projects on time and on-budget; all efforts on projects need to be well coordinated.
