Domain Registration

If you are in need of a domain name, I can assist you with that goal. If you own a domain, it can either be added as a addon domain or transferred. (An Addon Domain is a domain name which points to its own folder within public_html and operates as a separate website.) If you wish to keep your personal information private from online users, I strongly recommend Whois domain privacy and automatic backups. Privacy, however, is not available to those with .ca domains as the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) requires full disclosure of information related to a website.

Domain registrations can cost anywhere from $9.99 to $25, depending on the options that you wish to select. It is my suggestion that you opt for a 2-3 year registration, with hosting for the same amount of time. I can setup both for you. The following fees apply for .COM registration at the moment (privacy is optional):

Term Whois Privacy Registration Total
1 Year $9 $16 $25
2 Years $18 $32 $50
3 Years $27 $48 $75

Note that the .CA domain requires full disclosure of registration information, so the yearly $10 Whois privacy fee is not applicable. It is optional for .COM domains. The rate per year for .CA registrations is $12.
It is possible to buy a domain and then run several subdomains under it at no extra cost. 'www' is a subdomain of an established domain. 'mobile' is also common.
