Standard Website

ARC Web Development creates two types of websites for clients: Standard Websites and WordPress sites. As one should include mobile design/development in one's efforts, I would recommend either jQuery Mobile or WordPress. Either way, having a unique site is important. For each respective page of your site, your competitors surround you in the search results -- and there are competitors even higher in the search results -- that you can climb towards by having an effective content marketing strategy. Whether you start with a non-responsive desktop site or opt for WordPress, determine your options in consultation with ARC Web Development.

  • Non-Responsive Desktop Sites
  • Responsive Desktop Sites
  • jQuery Mobile Sites (Non-Responsive)

At ARC Web Development, I can report what Google Analytics is telling you about your visitors and also do a competitive analysis of sites nearest to your listed pages. To climb Google's SERPs, you are in the same neighbourhood as many other sites. Knowing more about their social media efforts could help you, as well as how they are targeting the same potential customers. What kind of website do they have? With a competitive analsys, I look at mobile readiness of you site, as well as that of your competitors. As you climb Google's SERPs, note that it may be difficult to reach within Google's top 10 pages in a short timespan; but a plan to improve SERP results, will nevertheless, be provided.

If you're attracted to a specific website design, I am more than happy to accommodate you. In fact, to make your website design project easy for you, I can recommend use of a commercial template that serves all of your basic needs. You will know upfront what your site will look like. If you are concerned that a website designed with a template may look similar to other companies that have selected the same template, I can customize the template for you. As shown on my pricing page, for a minimum of investment of $480, you can have a 5 page template site, that can later be upgraded to a custom site for $220. This upgrade is usually to a responsive desktop/mobile site.

Whether you opt for a standard or WordPress website, maintenance is a necessity you should not overlook. After all design and development work is done, you can have you site maintained by my company on an ongoing basis. Your site needs to be updated periodically and can benefit from having commonly used features like a blog, back-end and photo gallery. It does not take much to grow your business and having it managed professionally by a 3rd party can free you to devote time to other aspects of your business. To stay competitive, sometimes it is necessary to get extra help where you need it. If you already have a desktop site, perhaps jQuery Mobile would be appropriate.
