I started doing fashion design at the age of 15. Wow! Two years of experience. How do you think I feel about this? Answer: Fabulous. They say that practice makes perfect. As mother says, "Keep doing it. Your efforts will pay off." I believe her.

I got my first sewing machine when I was 14, but soon gave up as my sewing was terrible. After I took my first sewing class, however, things changed. Now I am on the machine practically day and night. I have not stopped sewing and creating my designs since then. I may not be the youngest fashion designer in the world, but I do take pride in my work.

I have often learnt things the hard way: by breaking a lot of needles on my machine and ripping out the crooked stitches. "Get rid of it," says my mother, but she's even said that for some of my better work. One thing is for certain: I have created some good designs that other like. At my first Trunk Show, I sold almost 25 pieces in two hours -- to impressed young girls -- and even one boy. Lol.
