Gray Havens
Many have passed through this port on their way to Tol Eressëa. Take train #4 and have your passport ready. For those heading to Aman (the undying lands), you will require a valid visa.
This is a one-way trip. If you're not a ring-bearer, we cannot guarantee that Ulmo will allow you to pass beyond Tol Eressëa. If one of your relatives is an elf, on the other hand, you can reach Arda in approximately 3 days (home of the Valar).
Erebor
Hop on board train #11 and visit the Folk of Durin (long-bearded dwarves). They are taller than us Hobbits -- and rich & famous. Accommodation is in the city of Dale. Though not as comfortable as a regular hobbit-hole, it easily meets our standards.
Those feeling adventurous can take a one-day trip to the Goblin mines where Bilbo found his magic ring. Take bus #33 or hail a taxi in Laketown. Train departures for Erebor leave twice daily.
